Heins Contracting/Roofing, Gutters and Downspouts in our case was great to work with. We felt very comfortable dealing with them from the sale/quote to start to the completion of the project. Kyle(Sales) and Derek(Project Supervisor) were involved with the work and made sure we were happy. I can’t say enough about both the roofing crew and the gutter and downspout crews as they were first rate! Both crews made sure any small details we had a choice about were offered onsite and done to our satisfaction. The roofers were here first thing and ready to work, and stayed till the evening when they cleaned up everything, job completed. The gutter crew also came to work and had the same work ethic! We are very happy with the look of the roof and the gutters also look great but with the recent downpours in our area they sure do the job directing the water away from our foundation! When I first started looking for a contractor to repair my roof, I had 4 different quotes from 4 very different contractors. Not knowing anything about roofing, I could only go on what each contracting representative could do in regards to answering my questions, and getting a good sense of what kind of follow through each of the 4 companies could offer. I was also very interested in how these representatives would be “present”, in working with my insurance company. When it came time to choose, the only representative that stood out from the rest was Adam from Heinz contracting. Adam was very patient and kind in each step of the process, and I immediately got a sense of relief that my wife and I would be taken care of throughout the stress of this experience. Even when Adam informed me that he would be on a short leave of absence to tend to his wife and 2 new twin daughters, he assured me that Brandon of (Heinz Contracting) would be be present during his absence. Brandon showed up at my house the next day to help set up the appointment to meet with my insurance company. When Brandon called to let me know how things went, I was again more assured that I chose the right company.

Workmanship is wonderful and we were able to get our windows pretty close to the same time we got the siding. Heins contracting also did our roof a few years ago and we have been very pleased with that also. We have noticed a big difference in not hearing as much of the outside noise with the new windows and or upstairs bedrooms are staying warmer. They really did a great job!

After having multiple bids, we chose Heins because we loved the company mission and overall professionalism we received from Adam during the quote process. We did have some communication issues throughout the project but the companies flexibility with slow insurance payments and ability to provide us with an amazing end product made up for it. Kyle was our rep and was with us from start to finish. The quote was fair, the roofers were very efficient and clean up was great. Our deck furniture was moved around to avoid being damaged and was moved back when the work was done. The install was done about 5 weeks from down payment as promised. DJ and his crew helped us get two doors replaced. He was everything I would hope for in a good contractor. I appreciated that he was easy to talk to, friendly, and straightforward. I didn’t once feel like he was pressuring or selling me on anything. He showed up when he said he was going to, and they did the whole job in a timely manner. We had one complaint about nail holes in the trim though, and when I asked about it, rather than patching like I suggested, they replaced the entire trim for FREE that same day. 5 stars! Heins contracting saved the day when we found out our kitchen had been destroyed by mold and water from a prior bad roof job. After calling countless roofers and getting no response or being told that they would not come out to assess a leak, Derek from Heins contracting stopped out the same day I called! He wrote up an estimate the next day and we had a new roof in 1 week! The crew was professional and fast. We got our roof & gutters replaced a few months ago. We were so happy with the work, that we asked them to replace our sunroom windows too.
They weren’t the cheapest, but they were the right choice for us.
I talked to 11 different roofing & siding companies before deciding on Heins and I’m glad I did. They were one of the few installers that weren’t pushy or didn’t ignore us altogether.
We considered replacing the siding too, but we only bought the place a couple years ago and they determined it was only a few years older than that. Several of the other companies we talked to tried to convince us we needed new siding.
Bryan and his team were knowledgeable, patient and professional.
The estimate and inspection process was quick and comprehensive.
We changed our minds a few times and they were able to answer all of our questions promptly and made sure we understood what needed to be done, why and what everything would cost.
Unlike a number of other roofers in town, they use a variety of different roofing brands and I was able to upgrade our roof for just a little bit more.
They replaced our gutters with top of the line leaf guards for less than what professional gutter companies charge.
On installation day, everything was delivered with notice and on time.
The installation team was fast, courteous & meticulous. Everything was done in a day or so and still cost thousands less than the other companies we considered. Everything is under warranty and they’ve been around long enough to stand by it.
Our window experience was just as good. There were some supply issues, so we had to order them a while in advance, but when they arrived, we scheduled our installation within a week. Installation only took a day and with our insulated windows, we were finally able to use our sun room during the winter!
I’d recommend Heins for roofing, siding or windows in a heartbeat and I’ve told all of our neighbors about them.

I talked to 11 different roofing & siding companies before deciding on Heins and I’m glad I did. They were one of the few installers that weren’t pushy or didn’t ignore us altogether.
We considered replacing the siding too, but we only bought the place a couple years ago and they determined it was only a few years older than that. Several of the other companies we talked to tried to convince us we needed new siding.
Bryan and his team were knowledgeable, patient and professional.
The estimate and inspection process was quick and comprehensive.
We changed our minds a few times and they were able to answer all of our questions promptly and made sure we understood what needed to be done, why and what everything would cost.
Unlike a number of other roofers in town, they use a variety of different roofing brands and I was able to upgrade our roof for just a little bit more.
They replaced our gutters with top of the line leaf guards for less than what professional gutter companies charge.
On installation day, everything was delivered with notice and on time.
The installation team was fast, courteous & meticulous. Everything was done in a day or so and still cost thousands less than the other companies we considered. Everything is under warranty and they’ve been around long enough to stand by it.
Our window experience was just as good. There were some supply issues, so we had to order them a while in advance, but when they arrived, we scheduled our installation within a week. Installation only took a day and with our insulated windows, we were finally able to use our sun room during the winter!
I’d recommend Heins for roofing, siding or windows in a heartbeat and I’ve told all of our neighbors about them.

Heins was one of three groups we took bids from to re-side our home, and their estimate came in well below the other two. Scheduling got a little delayed as the result of some strange early autumn weather (started our project a little later than expected and some October snow delayed a day or two on the tail end of things). But the crew was friendly and ambitious (they came out on at least one Saturday to get ahead of some weather), and working with Bryan up front and throughout was as pleasant as one could hope. I’d absolutely use them again.
